Adults Life Groups

Here is a list of the Open Adults Life Groups. These groups have a mixture of single and married adults, with or without children. (Groups particularly for parents with children living at home are in the ‘Families’ tab.)

• Weekly on Thursday evenings at 7pm

• Alternate meeting at Camp Hill & Rochedale
• Weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7pm

• Seniors Life Group
• Meet at Gateway, Mackenzie in Room 8 & 9
• Fortnightly on Wednesday at 1pm
• Focus on caring for one another and supporting missions

Leader: Donald & Rita Okeke

• Meet at Chandler
• Fortnightly on Friday at 7:30pm

Families Life Groups

Here is a list of the Open Families Life Groups. These groups have a mixture of single and married parents with children living at home, encouraging one another through this significant stage of life.

• Families with children 2-7 years old
• Meet at Alexandra Hills
• Thursday evening
• Ladies meet one week, Men meet the next, one week off
• Social once a month after church

• Alternate meeting at Capalaba & Alexandra Hills
• Weekly on Sunday afternoon at 2:30pm

• Families with young children
• Meet at Drewvale
• Weekly on Saturday at 10am

Women’s Life Groups

• Weekly during school term on Wednesday morning

Men’s Life Groups

Men’s groups at Gateway are built around a program called “Reconnected Man”.

These groups have been a catalyst for real life change in Gateway Men. This following short video gives a bit of an overview of what ‘Reconnected Man’ is all about. Click HERE to see the video.

Groups usually meet fortnightly at Gateway.

Special Interest Groups

The following are Special Interest Groups. They are different to a traditional Life Group where you may expect Bible study and prayer. These groups build community around special interests and activities.

Gateway Social

A social group catering to singles that includes a range of activities. Join us for a coffee in the Coffee Shop after the 8am or 10am service at Mackenzie to meet people and find our more about our next event.

Brazilian Families

A group of friendly Portuguese speaking families who meet socially together after the 10am service once a month. We meet in someone’s home, share a meal and spend the afternoon together.

Apologetics Group

Are you interested in defending your faith? Are you interested in learning how to engage in the current topics with the people that you live work and laugh with so that you can build the Kingdom of God? Well, so are we! Come along to our monthly Sunday classes to learn to champion your faith with engaging discussion and join a loving community of people who are passionate about defending their faith.

• Meets the 2^nd Sunday of the month at 12pm at Gateway

Push Bike Riders

Leader: John & Judy Park

• A friendly group of enthusiastic cyclists (all abilities welcome)
• We meet on the first Saturday of each month
• Various locations
• We connect for a social bike and coffee time together
