Through our Ormeau men’s events, you can make new mates and share life with them. There are also opportunities to explore or develop your faith.
The best way to stay regularly connected is through one of our life groups.
We also run four men’s events at Ormeau each year – three locally plus a blokes’ 4WD and fishing weekend run with the Mackenzie campus.
All blokes are welcome to every event.
There are lots of activities and events just for women at Gateway: Women’s life groups, special events and the chance to serve regularly with others.
The best way to connect regularly with other women at Gateway Ormeau is through one of our life groups.
On top of this, we run four women’s events a year – one a combined event with Mackenzie campus and three local. These events are designed to be a place where women can connect with God and each other, and invite their friends.
They’re the closest people to you and the most important people you’ll ever know. Whatever shape or size your family takes, you’ll find your place here.
If you’ve been married for a while and would like to be married for a lifetime, this is a course that will help you spend quality time while you’re looking at the big issues.
The Marriage Course is designed as a series of eight practical sessions with plenty of time to share a special meal as a couple and talk. There’s no group work involved.
To find out more information about the next Marriage Course phone the church office on 07 3291 5900.
We encourage every couple heading toward marriage to participate in pre-marriage education. The course we offer will help you reflect on key strength and growth areas in your relationship and set good foundations to begin your life together.
Pre-marriage education can be organised through the Gateway Counselling and Wholeness Centre.
Maybe you’ve been married for a few weeks or a few decades. Either way, Lovers is for you.
Held twice a year, our Lovers events help every married couple do a health check of their relationship. Each event begins on a particular marriage topic then lets couples process together over coffee and dessert at their very own ‘date table’.
