MAKE IT YOUR MISSION to PRAY

When we as a church MAKE IT OUR MISSION to pray, God takes our prayers and transforms lives and situations in extraordinary ways that we may never know or see.

We’ve got an opportunity for front row seats to see how God is answering prayers in our community, nation and world. Subscribe to our monthly Going Beyond e-news to find out who and what you can be praying for, or join our Gateway Beyond intercessory prayer team who receives more regular prayer updates.

Mission Teams

When we as a community of Jesus followers MAKE IT OUR MISSION to go, God uses our Gateway Beyond people to teach, disciple, heal and rescue people who then influence and impact families, communities, nations and the world.

Gateway mission teams are sharing Jesus’ hope in the world – and being transformed themselves in the process. Our mission teams visit countries around the world to participate in missions, support long-term Gateway Beyond workers and share skills.

During a 1-3 week mission team experience you’ll see and experience God at work in communities in need both physically and spiritually.

“Next Wave is all about walking alongside people feeling called to cross-cultural missions.”

The Bible is full of stories of God delivering people and nations facing adversity, and it was these stories which spoke into the heart of almost-teen Sav Cameron after she arrived in Australia from a refugee camp on the Thai/Cambodia border.

Sav’s Buddhist family fled war-torn Cambodia in the 1970s and spent years in Thailand before they came to Australia. It was in suburban Brisbane that Sav first heard about Jesus from her primary school teacher and realised there were faiths other than Buddhism. Since hearing the story of God using one person – Esther – to deliver a whole nation, Sav has made it her mission to gather people together to make a difference in the world.
