South Asia

Elsbeth teaches English to Bible Translators from minority language groups in South Asia.

These committed young people are translating portions of the Bible so they can read about, understand and worship God in their heart language.

Travelling from Australia with frequent trips to South Asia, Elsbeth teaches English to these multi-lingual translators to help them access translation tools and cross-check their translations.

Please pray:

• for the New Testament translation into 4 ethnic minority groups to be completed accurately and to the highest standard possible, so that their tribal languages can be preserved and the communities would respond to the Gospel and come to know Jesus.
• for unity and good health in the translation teams, and strong relationships with local church leaders.
• for continued support to cover the costs of the project.
