Reverend Edwin Keith from Greenslopes Baptist Church started a Sunday school in Holland Park
1948
After growing steadily, Holland Park Baptist Church became a church in its own right
1998
Holland Park Baptist became Gateway Baptist Church after purchasing the Queensland Pavilion building from Expo '88 and a block of land at Mackenzie
2012
Gateway launched its first campus, Gateway South (now Gateway Ormeau) marking the beginning of a multicampus approach to reach more people with the message of Jesus
2018
Gateway opened doors to the east and the west. Gateway Redlands launched at the Victoria Point YMCA, and Gateway Logan continued the legacy of Logan City Baptist Church.
2019
Gateway City opened its doors to bring the hope of Jesus to the heart of Brisbane City
2021
After years of online services, people from all over the world became part of an official campus: Gateway Online
