I’m James Bignill, the Campus Pastor here at Gateway Ormeau. I love being part of a church that’s full of energy, community, and a genuine passion for Jesus.
Whether you’re brand new to faith, returning after a while, or looking for a place to call home, you’ll find a warm welcome here. My prayer is that Gateway Ormeau feels like family, a place where all generations worship God together, friendships grow, and people encounter the life and hope that only Jesus brings.

Bring your questions! Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that create a safe and honest space where anyone can explore life, faith and meaning.
Belonging begins in community. Life groups are one of the most foundational ways we belong. Life groups are where our faith deepens, friendships form, and support becomes real.
Serving wherever God leads you puts the gifts God has given you to use, not to waste. It’s an invitation to grow in faith, build deep relationships, and experience the joy of living out your purpose.
The Practicing the Way Course is an on-ramp to spiritual formation, exploring what it means to follow Jesus and laying the foundation for a life of apprenticeship to Him.
Baptism isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about saying “yes” to Jesus and committing to follow Him.
