Baptism is an important step in your faith journey—whether it’s your first step towards following Jesus or a public declaration to live as His disciple.
Baptism isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about saying “yes” to Jesus and committing to follow Him. Jesus Himself was baptised and calls us to follow His example as an outward sign of our commitment to God. Going under the water symbolises the washing away of your old life and emerging as a new creation in Christ.
Baptisms take place during our Sunday services, where we’ll celebrate this incredible step with you, your family, and your church family.
Do I need to be baptised to be saved?
No, baptism isn’t what saves you. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is an outward sign of your inner commitment to follow Him.
Can I be baptised if I was baptised as a baby?
Yes! If you were baptised as a child, you may choose to be baptised again as a personal declaration of faith and commitment to Jesus.
What if I’m not sure I’m ready?
That’s okay! We encourage you to take your time and talk to a pastor. Baptism is a personal decision, and we’re here to support you wherever you are on your journey.
