For little ones aged 1–5
Kidlings is a fun and welcoming environment designed for our littlest kids to explore and grow in their understanding of God. Through engaging activities, songs, and Bible stories, your child will learn that God created them, loves them, and that Jesus is their friend forever.
Our dedicated Kidlings team partners with parents to nurture children’s faith, ensuring every child feels safe, loved, and valued. During school terms, our Kidlings program runs for the duration of the service and you can register your child 10 minutes before our 8am and 10am services.
The morning includes free play, interactive praise and worship, a Bible story, and fun games and activities to reinforce the day’s message. At pick-up, parents will receive an activity sheet with the Bible story and ideas for continuing faith conversations at home throughout the week.
If you have kids under 1, we invite you to use the parent’s room at the back of the auditorium, where you can supervise your child, access baby change facilities, and still participate in the service.
First time to Kidlings?
We’re so excited to welcome you and your child to Kidlings! When you arrive at Gateway Mackenzie, look for the large Kidlings sign on the ground floor of the Kids and Youth Building. Head inside to meet one of our friendly team members in a green t-shirt. They will help you register your child, provide a name tag for them, and give you a security sticker for pick-up. Please keep this sticker, as you’ll need it to collect your child after the service.
We understand leaving your child for the first time can be challenging, so feel free to stay with them until they feel comfortable in the Kidlings space. If your child becomes unsettled or needs a nappy change during the program, we’ll send you a text message—please keep your phone on silent but visible.
All Kidlings staff and volunteers have completed comprehensive training, and those over 18 hold a current Blue Card.
