Do you have a passion for seeing kids grow in their faith?

Gateway Baptist Church is looking for a kids coordinator to join our Brisbane City campus team one day a week, including Sundays. This is a contract role to the end of 2026.

This role oversees all aspects of Sunday kids ministry at Brisbane City, leading Kidlings for our 1–5 year olds and Kidzone for primary-aged kids, equipping volunteers to lead well, and helping create a Sunday morning where children and families feel genuinely welcome.

You'll work alongside the campus pastor and the broader Gateway Generations team, with access to shared multicampus curriculum and a network of people who care about kids ministry across the church.

About the role

• Overseeing the Sunday morning kids programs for children aged 1–5 (Kidlings) and primary-school age (Kidzone).
• Recruiting, training, and rostering volunteers for kids ministry.
• Providing a safe, welcoming environment where kids and families are known and cared for.
• Ensuring compliance with Gateway's Safe Ministry policies and Queensland Blue Card legislation.
• Contributing to the Gateway Generations team across campuses.

• You love kids and have experience working with children and families in a church or ministry context.
