Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!
2 Corinthians 5:17
On the last night of His life, Jesus told His followers that a new way of life was about to begin. Everything was about to change. Over the next three days, He would suffer, die, and rise again—ushering in a new covenant, a new commandment, a new community, and a new source of comfort.
Through His resurrection, He would make a way for all who believe in Him to experience true renewal, free from the power of sin and death.
In the lead-up to Easter, we will reflect on Jesus’ final teachings and prayers, spoken in the hours before He went to the cross. As we listen to His words, we pray that we will be transformed from the inside out.
This series will take us on a journey through the new life Jesus offers, culminating in the celebration of His victory over sin and death. On Good Friday, we will pause to reflect on His sacrifice, and on Easter Sunday, we will rejoice in the new creation He has made possible.
What is Jesus making new in you this Easter?
