🚀 An intergalactic week of fun, faith and friendship!
Get ready to launch into the school holidays with Gateway’s annual kids holiday program—Kids Take Over! This year, we’re heading into space for a fun-filled adventure to discover that God’s love is out of this world—bigger than the galaxies, brighter than the stars, and always with us.
Each day is packed with games, engaging teaching, creative moments and heaps of fun with friends. It's the ultimate school holiday experience for primary-aged kids—from Prep to Year 6.
Mackenzie, City and Redlands campuses are coming together for one awesome event at Gateway Mackenzie. It’s going to be a week to remember!
Two program options
After starting the day all together, kids split into one of two exciting programs:
🎭 Take One
A creative-based program where kids choose an elective and prepare for our Friday Afternoon Showcase.
Electives include:
- Dance (Prep – Year 6)
- Drama (Prep – Year 6)
- Art – Prep to Year 3
- Art – Years 4 to 6
- Media (Years 4 – 6)
- Music (all year levels)
Throughout the week, kids will learn new skills, work with experienced leaders and have the opportunity to perform or present their work at the end of the week.
💥 Take That
A high-energy, team-based challenge program filled with games, competitions, and fun!
Kids will:
- Join a house team
- Create a war cry
- Compete in challenges
- Earn points
- Cheer their team on
It all leads up to the final day where the Take That champions will be announced!
Please note: You’ll need to choose your preferred program when registering. If your first choice sells out, you can join the waitlist for it after selecting your second option.
Cost
- $95 per child
- $250 for families with 3 or more children (same family)
